This show seems to get better and better and this particular episode might have been the best one I’ve watched so far. Chuck throwing out truths left and right was a lot of fun but the best line in the episode by far was Morgan calling Chuck a “Mind Cheater”. I love that Chuck is growing up and “broke up” with Sarah.
Unfortunately I spoiled myself a bit after the first episode of this show. I needed to find what the name of Adam Baldwin’s character Casey was while I wrote my first blog entry. It was at that point that I found out that the character who I hated from that very first episode, Harry Tang, would be gone after only 5 or 6 episodes. Well it finally happened, Casey sent Tang on a mission to Oahu to wait on further instructions from the government! That was terrific, and who knew that Big Mike was a cheater? It was kind of convenient how Tang suddenly had a wife but whatever, he’s gone and this show can only improve.
Awesome continues to impress and even though he is a bit of a one note character, he keeps hitting that note flawlessly, unlike Mr. Tang.
Also of note are the other Buy More employees who are really doing a great job making the scenes in the Buy More something to look forward to rather than a simple break in the action.
Some housekeeping issues… Only five episodes left in this season and I just did some research. It turns out that all of Chuck season 1 is streaming online at hulu.com. So the rest of my thoughts on season 1 should be up sooner rather than later. That also means you have no excuses now, you should be watching Chuck on Hulu. Unfortunately there is no free/legal solution that I’ve found to watch the first 11 episodes of Season 2. Episodes 12-22 are streaming at Hulu. If you find a free/legal solution to stream episodes 1-11 of season 2 we’d appreciate you passing it along.
