Google Ad Sense screwed me out of $28.28 and future income! Since adding Ad Sense to my blog that was the amount of money I was able to accrue from my advertisers and I was supposed to get a check in about 2 weeks. However, apparently my audience was too enthusiastic in their support of my site.
Turns out that you can only be “so” successful with Ad Sense because if your readers click the ads too much Google accuses you of “click fraud” and annihilates your account. This, while obviously a major setback, will not affect my postings to the blog whatsoever. I’m enjoying posting immensely and do not plan to stop anytime soon.
However, the advertisements on my webpage are now Amazon branded. It’s a big change from the Ad Sense styled ads because I don’t make money when you click anymore. If you click through my website to Amazon.com now I make a % of whatever you purchase on Amazon. I know this sounds crazy but I’m pretty sure you need a Kindle, no seriously get a Kindle and then subscribe to my blog via Kindle’s subscription service! Maybe you’d like a PS3 or a flat screen TV?
Promise not to post about this again any time soon but if I type Boogle at some point in the future it’s most likely a Freudian slip.
