In watching the first three or four episodes of “Scrubs” (I know I’m late to this game) I’m very impressed with three key things.
First off, it’s funny, not a lot of comedies actually are funny (2 and ½ men I’m looking at you) and this one really is funny.
Secondly, they make wonderful use of music in this series; whether the characters are actually singing or it’s simply filling in as background music it brings clarity to the episode, punctuates a punch line, or simply entertains.
Finally this is a show that holds up very well to the test of time. I think it’s because the main characters are wearing the same junk that they wear on Grey’s Anatomy (Scrubs) in 2009 and not what was trendy in the early part of the decade. What was trendy in the early part of this decade anyway?
