So the wife and I went out to eat with some friends tonight (I’d mention their names but none of them would sign my blog release form). It was my buddy’s birthday… since he didn’t sign the release we’ll call him Ravid Dubman. Me, Kim, and Ravid met up with Lean and Sindsay (once again blog release problems forced me to change their names to be unrecognizable).
It was a fun experience the waiter brought us raw meat that we then cooked on a 700 degree stone. We should have known something was up; the place was called the Stone Grill. Kim believes that she has food poisoning from undercooked chicken… She was going to complain to the chef but realized the complaint would be somewhat cyclical.
After the meal which was delicious if you are into slightly undercooked chicken; Kim convinced the group to play mini-golf so she could get a milkshake from Nifty Fifty’s. After 18 holes in the dark (Nifty doesn’t believe in turning on the lights until people start tripping on the course) I was robbed of a mini-victory and Kim decided it was too late for a milkshake so I was deprived this time of a delicious treat.
Overall it was the most excitement I had on a school night in a long time!
